Rule 6: There is no better than Here

Rule Six

"There" is no better than "Here"

When your there has become a here you will simply obtain a
there that will look better to you than your present here
Gratitude
"When you stop comparing what is right here and now with
what you wish were, you can begin to enjoy what is."
Un-attachment
Perhaps the hardest lesson to learn is not to be attached to
the results of your actions.
Buddhists have taught one of the major causes of unhappiness is desire. These desires
create our attachments. Ultimately these attachments are fleeting, we spend a lot of our time
and energy in pursuit of them and they prevent us from paying attention to the really
important things in life.
1. Notice what you want and acknoweledge the outcome you are attached to.
2. Imagine the ideal outcome of your situation, and them imagine the worst case scenarion.
Doing this brings any hidden fears to light and makes it acceptable for the outcome.
3. Make a statement by writing our your desire clearly or saying it out aloud.
4. In your mind, create the image of you holding the intention lightly in the palm of your hand,
with your fingers loosely open.
5. Mentally release the desire out into the universe, trusting that whatever outcome you
receive will be the right one. Actually see yourself letting go of the attachment.
Abundance
"The richest person is the one who is contented with what he
has."
Peace
"There is nothing to do but be."
